If your clutch basket is hitting the outer primary, likely the clutch shaft nut has come loose, allowing the basket to move towards the cover. The nut is torqued to 54 ft, lbs and should get a few drops of threadloc-blue. You'll need to unadjust the clutch cable, and remove the center adjustment nut and plate (including E clip) to get to it.
