Disney used to make the most amazing films which you'd remember forever. Would have a moral too the story and would even help children understand quite deep subjects like separation and death. The songs used to be so catchy and memorable.Shame it all changed.

the singer was Shelby Flint. She had a sweet and haunting voice, didn't she? She also sings
on the "Valley of the Dolls" soundtrack since they could not use Dionne Warwick due to licensing problems. She was great at these themes.

@GHFiona Lol...a propehcy has to precede it's subject...prophecy is sort of like a prediciton....you can't predict something that has already happened...so since Bambi was made decades before The Rescuers nothing abt the Rescuers can be prophetic about Bambi...The Rescuers can pay homage to Bambi or something though.

i dont know how many times I saw this as a child, and I neve once noticed Bambi and his Mum at 0:44. 'Dont cry little one' ... prophetic perhaps?
