@Lakey0802 It was from when that male lion had killed the lionesses previous litter of cubs,but never joined after that,only one male took over had cubs,they fought him for to protect their cubs they have now,and I think the narrator also said it brought back the memory to strike out at him for killing their cubs.

On occasion, when a rogue kills the existing cubs, the lionesses will band together to drive him away. Then they'll accept the next rogue that comes along.
