All The King's Men is the story of the rise of politician Willie Stark from a rural county seat to the spotlight. Along the way, he loses his initial innocence, and becomes just as corrupt as those who he assaulted before for this characteristic. Also included is the romance between one of his "right hand women" and the up-and-coming journalist who brings Stark to prominence. Written by Neal Scoones

  • My dad was in this movie when he was 11 years old. He was in the school house and funeral scenes. I love seeing him as a young boy in the movie. I sure do miss him!

  • The new version has nothing on this

  • Both movies made Senator Long look like a dictator, which he wasn't. He took money from corrupt rich people, kicked out corrupt legislators, judges, and did an amazing job helping the State of Louisiana and it's poor people. Lousiana had just come out of the disasterous1927 flood. Most of Lousiana was under water and thousands homeless. My grandparents had to live in tents for months. Long was elected Govenor in 1928 & started turning it all around. His assassination files are still sealed.

  • BRILLIANT FILM!

  • Heavens to Huey Long! What a fantastic trailer! A true cinema classic! Almost as good as the Robert Penn Warren novel it's based on. Awesome script, direction & cast! Absolutely the best role Broderick Crawdord ever had...along with his best performance. And the same can be said for William Burke, who played hisw bodyguard ("Sugar Boy").
