  • "I support the Yankees, doesn't mean I wear the uniform." Only an idiot Republican would compare sports to a war.

  • @whbon73 Ha - so true. He just repeats himself and never actually responds directly to the points she's making. Which is typical for conservatives/Republicans: they just dig in with their side of the story and keep repeating themselves, long after they've stopped making sense. Because of this, it is so easy to debate a conservative and win.

  • Get 'em Randy! They talk from air conditioned studios, you talk from first hand experience!

  • UNITED SHAME OF AMERICA ! Stop the WAR

  • @summercures2 aaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahhhhhahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaqhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!

whew. that was a good one.

  • @jamel11234: You said "how many kids of our reps and senatorswill you find in afghanistan or iraq? nuff said!"

Well, let's not act as if though democrats have not voted for any wars. Also, we must take into consideration the fact that nobody is forcing people to go out and fight. People join the military and become soldiers of their own choice, fully aware of the risks. So when politicians and senators vote for wars, their depending on the willful participation of the people, uncoerced.

  • Nice job Randi

  • Typical right wing bs. It's ok to send everyone else to war when you don't have the guts to go yourself. Just make someone else fight it for you. This has nothing to do with being a surgeon or anything else that was used previously as an argument. Randi Rhodes is right on the mark.

  • Rhodes you were in the military? Shouldn't be allowed

  • @Ccola3 So, you're equating the advocacy of actively killing human beings en masse with the espousing of everyday political or social opinion? Well, that's just lovely! What incredible spiritual qualities you must have. Anyway, if there is reason to know that being without such qualifications might significantly alter one's opinion, then yes! OF COURSE! I've never performed heart surgery - do you honestly think that my opinions regarding its execution are as valid as a Heart Surgeon's?
