@0000Jillsandwich0000 I personally would use a crossover to have more control over the frequencies and not use a built in crossover. Another option none the less great comment for those looking to spend less money on their system.

@lukechalaudio
is there a crossover you recommend or just any will do?

@lespaulsrock69 If you want something affordable Behringer crossovers will be cheap. But if your looking for something better CX311 - 2way Crossover with Subwoofer Out by ART would be the kind of crossover you would be looking for but there are many different companies. However it looks like you would need a sub, tweeters, and the Fostex speakers could be your mids judging by the outputs on the back of the rig. Finding the one right for your setup is key.

@lukechalaudio
How to you hook up a sub & what kind of input does it have to have? I just ordered some & I want to put a sub w/them

@lespaulsrock69 The back of these speaker will take 1/4'' TRS cable and it is also capable of RCA. I would personally stick with the TRS cable option. In order to hook these up with a sub you will need a crossover.

do they come with the cables to hook them up?

@TheLtdan93 They don't come with the cables. I purchased the TRS cable seperate
