  • Where could I could get a hks for cheap?? Im not sure about spending 300 on a brand enw one but do you like the sound of your HKS better? or a Magnaflow muffler?

  • @Baussnigga Not really gonna find one for cheap anywhere. Even used it's pretty pricey. Honestly it's not worth it for that muffler, it's just the name. Magnaflow I haven't heard. Only on a coupe, and that sounded nice. Check out my other videos and more current ones where I have my Sebring muffler on. It's a universal muffler so you'd need to cut part of the piping for it and have it welded so it can be bolt on. I love the sound much better. I paid 180 for muffler + fabrication/install.

  • @donpistovp Thats pretty good price!! WHere did you get it?? It sounds like a lot of work to installl that sebring one but i'll take a listen to it. I have a g35x sedan 2005 I was looking to get a magnaflow for now and maybe catback exhaust later

  • @Baussnigga Got it from Labree Motorsports. It's actually not that much work at all. You can pick up a used sedan muffler (even the 03-04 will work) for like 20 bucks. Then just gotta find a muffler shop and they'll do the work for you.

  • You need to add a coupe mid pipe and a HR y pipe cuz your car still sounds very much like a stock exhaust.

Bottom-line change more parts and not just the muffler.

  • @umgill45 This was a very old setup. I went with a coupe midpipe afterwards. Then I just took off the muffler and had a pipe with a tip instead, then I had test pipes, then went back to oem cats, now I have a Sebring Tuning muffler with no resonator on my midpipe. Later when the time comes I'll be getting a full custom exhaust setup up by Labree Motorsports using their test pipes and depending on my rear bumper I'll do a center exit exhaust or pipes leading to the visual of a dual exhaust setup.

  • I want this video on my N70 unit.

  • sounds fabulous!

  • @Quazimodofuck It's a direct bolt on. Tips are welded to the muffler canister and the piping is welded to it as well. But it's only the muffler. Midpipe & back remains untouched.

There are other options. A similar muffler is what I have now, a Sebring Tuning muffler. It's a universal muffler so you'd need to cut the OEM piping on the muffler and have a shop weld piping from there to the muffler. It's shorter, gives it a different sound, and a tad louder. I prefer the Sebring. Much Cheaper too.

  • Hey I'm wondering if when you buy this does it only come with the muffler and the exhaust tip? or does it come with the piping aswell?
