bada waheeyaad rendition ..isme wtaan ki mitti ki khusboo hi nahin thi ....hudd hoti hai experimentation ki ...yeh maula ki ibabdat hai , koi khichdi competition nahin ..i respect Kailash as a singer of immense hunar , par yeh badtameezi laggi ....baki , bhool chook mauf !!
Although this is a very old poem composed by Aamir Khusrow, whilst you're listening to Kailash Kher, it is best to view it from the eyes of Mirabai, the saint, since most of his songs are close to her life. This is my interpretation of the song, and it may not match with that of the original poet, however, if you know Mira, you will understand how profound this song can really be. I hope you have a nice time listening to Kailasa. :)
Mira, the young princess, is in love with Lord Krishna, and she is madly searching to meet her God, to catch even a glimpse of her God. In the process she becomes paranoid, and common people begin mocking her insanity. Her husband’s royal family demeans and tortures her for her insane behaviour. But all Mira knows is her Lord Krishna whom she wishes to attain.
. Her love at times is possesive and protective, but it is clear that she has become intoxicated by the love of God. She does not care about her family or her husband, and she gives up her married life and becomes an ascetic. Her family, then, decides to kill her by poison since she is becoming an embarrassment to the family. She embraces death happily thinking this is how God wills it, for her to meet Him.

Today, Mirabai is revered as saint by Hindus.

Aa sajna in nainan mein palak dhaank tohey loon / Come into my eyes, my love, let me cover you with my eyelashes
Na main dekhu ghair ko, na tohey dekhan doon/ Neither will I eye a stranger, nor shall I let you
Kajar daaroon kirkara/ How do I apply kohl to my eyes?
Jo surma diya na jaye/ The kohl wouldn’t stay
Jin nainoon mein pi basey/ For the eyes that bear pain (tears) within
Dooja kaun samaye?/ Who else will stay in them?

Chaap tilak sab cheeni mosey naina milayke/ You have robbed my religion by looking me in the eye
Naine milayke, mosey saina milayke/ Meeting my eye, meeting my face
Prem vatika madwa pilayke/ Making me drink from the wine of your garden of love
Matwari kar dini mosey naina milayke/ You have made me crazy by looking me in the eye.

Goori Goori baiyaan/ The fair arms
Hari hari chooriyaan/ The green bangles
Baiyaan pakar har leeni mosey naina milayke/ Holding my wrist you have captured me, just by looking me in the eye

@sanaatta8 here's the translation and the interpretation for you.
Bal bal jaaun torey rang rajwa/ I give my life to you, drenched in your colours
Apni si rang deeni mosey naina milayke/ You have coloured me in your hues by looking me in the eye
Khusrau Nizam ke bal bal jayi main/ I give my life to you, oh Nizam!
Mohey suhaagan keeni mosey naina milayke/ You have wedded me by looking me in the eye.
