there are some solution :

clean your laptop mother board specially fan with paint brash and shut down your laptop one you no need to use.

if there is still have same problems buy laptop cooler fan from ebay, that will take u £4.99 max.

as your laptop been 2 and half years old, that might me one reason.

there are few more reason behind that happen....

1) some software you using which are more RAM need then ur laptop have

2) laptop start making noise and quick hot when there is some duct in ur laptop fan.

3) you leave ur laptop open all night or not shut down few days.

me also using vostro 1310, used 2 and half year, i don't know why, my laptop now is very fast to hot, so i guess is inside fan too many dust...what you think?
