I am no fan of Opus Dei myself but I must say I am saddened by some of the comments on this page.At the end of the day this page should be about Blessed Newman and nothing else.Its a wonderful accolade to be bestowed upon a person and we should limit our comments to his reverance

How tragic for the body of Christ whose Lambs stray, confused & weakened, wounded by resentment, missing what 70,000 + attendees, 1,000 Priest, The Royal Family, the countless millions world wide who watched, while others would later read or view, along with The Communion of Saints ongoing rejoicing in unity the celebration of Pope Benedict XVI’s Beatification of Newman!
