The large bay of Cala de Sant Antoni was already used by the Romans as Portus Magnus and natural harbor known. The Bay is now home to the largest port of the island. About 2000 years Sant Antoni was no more than a small fishing village. Only in the 1950s began with the increasing tourism, the construction of well-known hotel castles that still dominate portmanyins cityscape. In the 1980s, was given the stigma Sant Antoni a holiday destination of British football hooligans, by which the tourism suffered greatly had. The mid-1990s the island was discovered by the clubbers scene. Known locations are Café del Mar and the Eden, one of the many big clubs in Ibiza. Relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
