Alright guys, for real, This is A JOKE!!!! Get educated folks. On a serious note. If you want a simple tidbit, try this. Work on being able to breath freely, meaning, being able to release all your hair as fast as you can take it in, as well as being able to blow out the air for a certain deal of time. Now, once you feel your throat is able to remain open, this allows for a massive volume of air to pass from your lungs to the lips. Now the lips are there as a valve, holding back the volume of air. Lets go back to chem 101, more volume in a distinguished space allows for higher pressure. specifically known as boyles law. Anyway,,, so by being able to have the muscle capacity to expel the air rapidly and having a strong set embachure, you dont need a lot of pressure against your lips to hold them back as well as allowing your lips to vibrate at the desired frequency. So
Step 1: Practice breathing out with mass volume.
Step 2: Practive applying the breathing technique to the embachure with minimum mouthpiece pressure
Step 3: Remember to take breaks, you dont to blow out within the first five minutes.

So i'll make a vid explaining all this a lot better over the break, Until then, keep on questing for the Holy wail.

  • It's pretty funny how people don't get this video. How to play higher, "Stand on your chair." Hilarious. Push your slide all the way in, which makes you go a few cents sharper, which is technically higher. Lmao. Good video!

  • For 1, thats absolutely no help at all. im 14 and i play higher than double high C. and seriously, you had to put down the camera to push in your tuning slide? gosh your terrible at taking care of your instrument.

  • technically you are playing higher if you push the tuning slide in. lol

  • YEAH, this really helped me out, I now can play a triple C!!!

  • fag

  • or just ask a friend to kick you in the balls you'll be an octave higher in no time

  • if you put the tuning slide in, then your just playing notes out of tune...

  • were you playing the incredibles at 0:30 ?

  • @crazzei for me anyway, I find it gives me a rich tone as you continue into the upper register, and although it has a shallow cup, the low notes are still fairly solid

  • the joke would make more sense if the title was "how to play higher" for the chair part anyways

  • @screamtrmptgod i am a fucking high school student
