I got the Canon 60d two days ago and I shot my friends and I tailgating before a high school hockey game, and then just some footage from the game, but I mainly took photos. I thinking about getting Premiere Pro becuase i will be able to properly use the different frame rates, and the HD footage. Neither of which final cut express is capable of handling.
