If you're comfortable leaving your email address, I'd be happy to hook you up with their tunes :) Tight was cool, but they never had quite as cool a cover songlist, as SG...Then again, they didn't have all those bomb original tunes at that time either...And you're right about John too...A Prince among men for sure!!! :)
-
you lucky bugger! All I have is a copy of the Fool's Game video, some pics and a failing memory - how right you are they did not get more recognition. Never tire of Tonya and the crew. Even the earlier Tight days were ok but you are right, Mr. Regal was a very welcome addition - awesome drummer and a decent dude. ah the old days eh?
-
If time could be turned back 25 years, I'd have taken a camcorder to every show...Michigan had never heard/seen the likes of Tonya before then, or since then...Having Randy Regal on drums was a MAX BONUS!!...I'm blessed to have their music preserved...The rest is left to hazy memories lol :)

Here here! Same story, same result. Tonya (and John) are great people. It was magical to hear here voice again - an angel so complimentary to Duane's perfect story teller croon. More please!!! And girl, I am still your fan in all respects with all respect...

I love true folk music...Duane reminds me of Gordon Lightfoot...Tonya, JUST SING BABY...YOU FOREVER KICK ASS!!!

Lightfoot, yay. Nice to be compared to someone so fine and accomplished. Yes, Tony indeed kicks ass, you have no idea, and we will do more things with her in the future, and back her up on something. All high praise graciously accepted in this corner, intuit40.

Well, this was our Take Me Back in time show, with a lot of tributes to the Greenwich Village coffeehouse scene of the early 60's and before. Hence the lava lamp, bean back chair, and other decor, and, of course, this tribute to Mary Travers and PPM. We could use more peace songs these days, (along with love and laughter), we think, and that is the most gripping one I know of, possibly excepting The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. ddd
