  • @dbmusic72 Mk1

  • Is this a MkI or MkII?

  • There is a unit for sale here in my city, really cheap too, might pick it up for use as a controller via midi. With all the DAW's available with midi learn, i think it would be better than a dedicated midi controller due to its 24/96 capabilities. I may never use the ad/da convertors or the pre's but its nice to know I could if I needed more tracks.

Thanks for your time in putting this video together. Ciao.

  • dam,mn hard drive is noisy as hell I can hear it on the video?!

  • I'm having trouble with getting signal when I try to record. I can see the levels but when I playback nothing

  • Hi,

I would like to connect my DPS24 with Luna 2 soundcard through ADAT cabels...I have expansion card with all 24 channels for sending to PC( i would like to record on PC)...any advices?

  • As far as the crashing thing, I have never experienced it. However, that is most probably a function of how I set out to use the DPS24 and have never really changed my work habits. I keep only a very few projects on the hard drive at any time, using SCSI to move projects back and forth between the DPS24's internal hard drive and computer.

  • That's my only compaint (not a small one) but I would never give this machine away or sell it... I love working with it.....while praying each time I turn it on... :) What's your take on the crashing John?

  • Out of a 80G drive... the machine will crash at about 5G or ...I've tried several different types of drives that are compatible with theunit but it continues to happen....I continually now clean up the drive space frequently....but it IS a pain and I really feel it's a drawback regarding this unit.

  • However.... and I hope you still respond to these comments John....the one annoting thing is the fact that the machine does crash from time to time......it's scary to say the least.... I have figutred out that it's commonly due to having to much on the drive....which disappointingly is not very much space that you need to have filled up.
