  • This is just SO sweet!

Loved the lyrics of restrained romantic expression reflecting the expected reserved coyness of a woman of traditional Indian culture since I first heard it, ten days back on 10th, but, though saved it to relish & revisit this poetic treasure... like I often end up doing with your uploads, especially the "TIMELESS" bhavgeets that touch the core, like TinhisanjaSakhe! ShukraTara! TyaPhulanchya! did not have words to express my thoughts on this GEM too!

    Thanks Sudhir!

  • I missed this one before. Your message earlier today prompted me to go to your channel again and I found this gem . Great singers enthrall us in any language, of course, but when they sing in their mother tongue, the effect is in a class by itself. Lataji and Asha Bhonsle in Marathi, Geeta Dutt in Bengali, and Moh'd Rafi and Shamshad Begum in Punjabi seem to sing as if conveying their elemental bonds with the earth, water and air that nourished them in childhood . Thanks, SJ.
