this is a rough version of a remake i had rattling around in my brain. i definitely took some liberties with this one. i was kinda making it up as i went along, and i went offkey towards the end, coz i didnt know what i was doing. haha. let me know what you think...

and by the way. i made up the brooke part. there were no rumors. but it made for countless headscratching. woohoo

DUDE ... One word, "WOW"! Really, I'm a worship leader & write music myself in that "worshippy" (like you say yourself ;)) style of music, but never thought of playing a song in that kind of way. I ain't something you can use on a worship evening but the fact you do it with so much passion & love for God makes me wanna worship, and that's the way it's supposed to be. I think it's amazing. haha. agreed. sometimes the best way to display our gifts is to breathe some fresh air into a classic. even in the worship setting, i love hearing new takes on stuff we all are so accustomed to hearing. so yeah. thanks for noticing my out-on-a-limb covers. haha

i love this remix. like seriously. very funky and can even be jazzy with the right chords. i like that little lick you do at the beginning... though the last chord you play (i suppose replacing the G#m7 of the original) at the end of the verse could be worked out better... i like the funkiness. some tweaks here and there and you've got a very sweet version... wanna work on it? lol let me know whats up bro..
