  • Fantastic Job! Tears... good tears, but tears. :_)

One of my best friends directed this play a couple of months ago. I'm usually in everything he directs, but i had a broken leg and couldn't get on stage, so I just had to watch. I was already in tears because of Little Coalhouse running across the stage, then at the end of the show, he got up on stage and proposed to his girlfriend. Not a dry eye in the place. it was beautiful.

  • I love Grandfather. And Mother. And that freaking adorable child. And the last thirty seconds or so gave me shivers.

  • @watersmith106 if you're in mansfield, ohio August 6, 7, 13 or 14 you can at the renaissance theatre! haha!

  • @katemcgowan1 I wondered the exact same thing!

  • I hope to God that some black people join my school's drama department next year. Because I REALLY want to be in this musical. It's one of the most beautiful musicals out there.

  • we did this musical for school and when coalhouse ran out i cried

  • I SO want to see this live one day! They revived it on Broadway for a short time and I'm so dissappointed that I didn't get the chance to see it. One day though, I'll get to see it!

  • Mother and Tateh :)

  • made my cry like crazy awsome job post the whole play! please
