  • Considered good

  • A 6+ minute video on how to cut a tile ffs, i'd have tiled a whole floor by now.

  • @tigercrap lol with a decent cutter (i use sigma ) i can cut a tile in 2 seconds, a wet saw would take closer to 45 seconds the nippers are only for fine detailing of the cut and wet saws only should be used fort shape cutting as the cut is not real good as it has fine chipping as a snap cutter leaves the cut perfect in only of need of a very light sand

  • You should never wear any kind of gloves using rotating tools. It can be caught and torn with your palm!

  • Over kill on the safety Dust mask-really? I touch the side of the blade all the time to feather cut the edge when scribing in a cut. most you can get is friction burn. Lol at the 'c' clamps for a guide. @ tigercrap, tiller snappers are great for cutting ceramic or porcalian tile when your going to cover the cut edge with a finished piece.IE: transation between wall and floor. way faster then wet saw. but use wet saw to cut circles and knockouts.

  • They make a big deal about keeping your hands away from the blade and then proceed to show you how to hand cut curves, a bit contradictory. If you do this, please where some heavy leather gloves.

  • if you put the cut edge up against the ruler you wont get a square cut and also

you have double cut a tile that is a big no no (: oh and you used the square on the cut edge not the makers edge so you wont get a square cut lol (:

  • @bkbe4dk1

This is the second video I have seen where you have been dismissive of what they are doing, but just as in the other, you don't offer any advice or opinion as to why they are doing things wrongly? It would be nice to know what exactly you mean.

    Cheers

  • WRONG!! Did Home Depot hire Idiots for there videos ?? YES !!

  • Why is he wearing a mask using a snap cutter? I don't use a mask with a wet saw. Trust me, rent or buy a wet saw! The tile cutter is a joke. You will save so much time, effort, and be able to cut small to large shapes with a wet saw. I never understand why u would use a tile cutter! The nipper takes forever and it's tiresome. Get a diamond bit for curves!
