@hayabusa671 In addition to @flyingkd, take a look at the ASTB, since you need to do well on that to get an aviation slot. Also, all Coast Guard pilots go through API as well.

Every Navy/Marine Corp pilot and NFO (the navigators who sit in the back seat) go through this training. HIgh school is the perfect time to be working toward getting in. You have to consider whether you want to go through the Academy, ROTC, or OCS; they can all get you into the flight program. Talk to your high school counselor and see if they can get you more information or get you set up to talk to someone (like a recruiter or a ROTC instructor from a local college).

im in highschool. looking into being a pilot. is this school specifically fighter pilots or all pilots? either way, what should i work on in order to get to where you are at?
