Looking back along the train and in to the past with these two units having a combined age of 91 years. I'd like to say still going strong but it would be a lie. Like me they are getting tired.

  • when you look back you strech your pupils as opposed to compressing them when looking foward...the G8B looks like a reworked E7 or E8/9 or something that came out Illinois Centrals Pudacah loco shops like the GP8 & GP10 rebuilds,emd should've taken IC's advice on align boring the SD45 blocks to prevent crank breakage due to frame flex ,looks like i got off the rails on this rant !!!!
