thank you so much for this video. My hubby & i have been wanting goats for a very long time. once we get a nice place with some land we want a few goats. do you know anywhere in the Toledo and serounding areas were i can buy goats milk. i make soap & want to use it in all my soaps as well as want to give it to my girls. they also have a problem with cows milk & i have been told goats milk is as close to human milk as you can get. dont know for sure, but that is what i have heard. thanks.

@onetweetygirl71 Thanks for your comments. It is illegal to sell goat milk in Ohio so you'll have to find another source of protein for your family. Annie

Where is this Blue Ridge Living Center? I'd like to visit your center and milk your goats. If you have a large number of goats I'd like to work at the center milking your goats. You don't have to pay me any thing.

@grace774177 Hello. Glad to hear about another soap maker. :-) I don't have have a goats milk recipe, but you can find a whole bunch on the internet. I have never made any because I have never had fresh. You can get books from the library that can help. "The everything soapmaking" book is good. It also depends on what kind of soap making you want to do. You can email me & I can give more details if you want. Same as above with at hotmail. State soapmaking in sub or I could delete. @onetweetygirl71 Hello! I am getting goats in about a week or so and I saw your comment and wanted to help you out! YES! Your kids should be able to drink goats milk because it has smaller fat globules and is much easier to digest than cows milk. Most people are alergic to cows milk because they can not digest it:)

I really want to make goats milk soap because I have heard a lot of good things about it...could you give me one of your recipies to start me off? or a few tips? Thanks!

soon the gov will close all those family farms. fuck, i cant have my small farm because my farm is considered low standard or not that "modern" like big farm corporation. but belive me that animals in my farm are more happy than those who are in their animal factories. fuck global crisis, i dont care i dont have money, but i have my smal farm and animals who provide my food. but they want to take me that too.

Hi to all you homesteaders, or back-to-the-landers out there. If you need a great book that is really helpful to all of us who can use some good info for farm living, get hold of a copy of a book titled: "Practical Homesteading" by John Vivian. I've had mine for about 30 years and still read through it often. You might find it on ebay. As for buying goat milk, if you can't find anywhere, but need some, a lot of large grocery chains carry it.Usually in qts. Might help you out temporarily.
