Sounds pretty quiet on that thin material. We have 3 blue Wiedemann Centrum 1000's at the shop where I work that we use to punch 5/32" A36 steel and wow do they shake the foundation "BOOM BOOM BOOM!" I'm not very good at using the computers on them though, I prefer operating the Houdaille Strippit 1000 III (much more experience with the user interface on it)
Oh wait, I program the c2000 now, I don't just run it. It's a pretty cool machine. I don't know what "stockbogger" is talking about the centrums are normal sized.
Why, we I was a kid, we used to punch holes in steel with a hammer and a stick ... and we liked it that way!

I operate a C2000 as well. We have a lot of trouble of the indexing stations being slightly out of alignment.
