These really are great little organs with an endless combination of sounds and heaps of volume! If you are interested in buying a good one for less than $100, and know how to change tubes and follow service instructions (service manual supplied), send me a private message. The S6 in question is located in York County, Pennsylvania. Seller will help with loading onto your transport. S6 weighs 140lbs.
@ORUPRANKSTAZ Don't feel bad because organs these days come up every single day for incredible deals. In Columbus Ohio, collected 13 great organs all under $150 or free! The L100 is awesome and I grew up with an L100, but the M100 is also great. I prefer the L100 because of the non-scanner type, solid state vibrato. I like an alternate Hammond tone wheel sound more than the rock tone. If you like the rock tone and the Jimmy Smith jazz then the M100 is superior to M3. For mint Elegante paid $150!
Thanks PaulJ for the bass modification. I had an S6 that I bought used in the late 60's and it had thundering bass! A long distance move in 1980 forced me to give it away (to a friend) and I have been kicking myself ever since. Finally found one in very good cosmetic condition but needed 5 12AU7's one 6C4, two 12BH7's a 5U4 and a 12AX7. Got it playing sweet, took some tapping on several coils, but the only complaint is the weak bass. Solved that with your modification! Thanks!
Thanks for the info on the pedal boost. Mine was always weak in the pedal department. The woodwinds? No other pre digital sampled instrument could compare to the woodwind sound of the S6. Thanks to the 12AU7 and the LC circuit. (Earlier models used 6SN7 octal base tubes instead of the 12AU7 miniatures.

I can't believe I passed up an L100 priced at $125. Epic fucking fail.

I saw one of those at a San Bernardino pawn a couple years ago and was curious as to how it sounded. Thanks for demonstrating.

This organ is still used today to play dance tunes in Venezuela. But organists do not use the keyboard chords and always need a group of rhythms.
