God Bless my African American Brothers and sisters!

@veeseee128 I hate in this otherwise enjoyable show that the producers insult our intelligence by putting in the second Kunta when he looked NOTHING at all like the first younger Kunta. He couldn't look more different

This art work is what makes this music so touching. The music goes from sad to joy to hopeful. and the art work reflects the mood of the music. Such as the end when chicken george, his wife and children ride through the sunset victorious despite all theyve been through hoping for a better tommorrow. Brings a tear to your eye.

Should have left them chains alone nigga!

I never forget how kizzy was in tears screaming for her mother. mama, mama dont let him take me! While kunta kinte was so devastated in tears seeing his only daughter taken away from him, holding onto his wife while she was screaming hysterically. Very moving scene. Yes this is what white slave owners did. The guy she was sold to was an obnoxious drunk, rapist, racist obviously dirty funky old white man named tom moore . Kizzy bore him a son named chicken george who was into cock fighting.

When the slave owner sold kizzy to that redneck it was such a painful scene, the redneck raped her for years . she was only 15. she never saw her father kunta kinte again. Her mother was so torn up inside. she was crying, holding on the wagon that had her daughter in it. The wagon dragged her until she fell. This is why black folks dont have unity. or value family because the white man broke up the families sold, father, mother, daughter, son. YES,Whites did horrible things in slavery times.

@KnightWind88 the Africans had slaves, true enough, but it was NOTHING like the inhumane, chattle slavery that was practiced in the US
