When Erin was just 6 months old, we found out she had a stroke during separation surgery. She was paralyzed from mid-chest down. We were told at that time that she would never have any recovery below the level of injury, and that was it for her. Even though they said she would never walk, we always tell her that she will. She works hard to do just that.

This is amazing how doctors told you that she would be never able to walk again and look at how she baffled the doctors. God is the miracle worker here and has helped give the strength to Erin so she could walk. I am truly proud of Erin for helping herself out. And not giving up. One day you'll see. She will be able to walk again without the use of a walker!

I just learned about Erin while researching a service dog for my son who has autism. I am so glad that I came upon her and then this video. I am so inspired by this little girl! Thank you for sharing her with everyone! :-)
