Than I guess you have never been hit by jamming bomb resets, you? MODOK can force you block in reverse directions if he does that reset. His barrier can prevent air techs so that he can snatch a grab. His slime counts as a low, so he could create a unblockable by correct read of a tech roll. He has issues, but...he doesn't really need a faster lows when he need better jabs.

Modok has worse mixups then Tr0n lol He is not scary at all.

MoDoK Is still mid tier at best. He is not slept on .SO WHAT IF HE HAS FANCY COMBOS. He one of the worst mixups in game and non existant crossups. His zoning game deals terrible dmg/chip and alot of characters can just crouch under his beams/hyper which are very high off the ground.
He has too many limitations to ever truly be competitive in the highest level of play. Not till he gets a faster low hitting attack or higher reliable chip game.
