  • Discovery = fool. British can't have guns without the Chinese gunpowder. Mostly of all the knowledges of Romans & Greeks steal knowledge from India and China, but they got too much prides to admit they're stupid. Western cultures always take credits from others and stamp their name on it. Be a man and admit that it's not your knowledges. No wonder all those past wars, winner always burned books and rewrite the books with their own country's name. All governments suck, greedy bastards.

  • European explorers=Western thieves.

  • What part of ANCIENT Chinese don't ppl understand

  • @IAmTheStig320 i agree besides china doesn't develop their science well since they had an emperor to *guide* them

  • @ziongite Did I said China is 1? No. Some of the stuff you name are in 20th century technology that are from Nazi & Nazi SS that travel most of the world to found the hidden knowledges. I didn't talked about 20th, I said mostly before 20th century. You don't get my point, if everybody admit they stoled something, be mature, and moved on. Even China copy Buddha statue from India, which he originally from, not from China. Humans will always copy and made it look like it's from their country.

  • You people have to remember that China was advanced in some areas but very backwards in others. For example, they had cannons and repeating crossbows, but they didn't have glass, steel-working or a calendar. It is true that medieval Europeans were quite unimpressive compared to ancient Chinese, but we weren't exactly primitive.

Here's an analogy: imagine a world where we have starships and laser guns, but haven't split the atom or mastered farming or fire. That's what China was like back then.

  • WOWOWOWOWOWOWOOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW I love chinese pile

  • @ziongite I totally agree that China should be isolated (They closed country itself in the past history). And before pay penny of debt for China, China should pay for every product they have pirated, every patent they have stolen. They have much more debt to west than we have them. If they have something to argue, lets stop them having oil from Persian gulf - then we will see who is who.

  • I can easily tell you 10 western inventions for every Chinese with same influence to our life. But space is too limited here. Truth is, that last 300 years Chinese haven't invented virtually anything. If you divide number of Chinese inventions with number of people in china, they have been quite unimaginative. What west have invented that Chinese haven't. For example - almost everything related to electricity. They made agricultural revolution before us but that was where they progress ended.

  • @ziongite They absolutely did have those weapons during the SOng Dynasty. Hear me out:

China has been generally more advanced and ahead of their Western counterparts culturally, materially, and militarily for centuries. This held true until the fall of the Ming Dynasty in 1644. Why? After the fall, CHina was ruled by an ethnic minority from the North. This minority created a dynasty that was weak and corrupt and made China very poor. This allowed the West to colonize and take over!
