Early morning and a windy day makes for a fine spectator sport. Not many balloons have dared to take off and on landing they bounce across the ground. The pilots are desperate to land, because if they don't, then they will have a long trip along the Avon Gorge and then over the Severn Estuary to Wales, and in some cases they will NOT have enough gas to get there.
