What happened to all of this dance and flexibility in 1985-88? This was nice. I loved her 1988 Floor though

I much preferred her style in this program up until early 1987, as opposed to her 1988 Olympics style. Around the 1987 Worlds she became a bit too masculine with her routines, the way she pounded the beam and muscled through her routines. Maybe she wanted to set herself apart from the other balletic Soviets.
