how come they just say gweneth paltrow and aaron eckhart? considering as how jennifer ehle and jeremy northam outght to be rather well known, even by those who do not watch jane austen movies.

I can't help thinking James Purefoy playing in this movie instead of Aaron Eckhart..He would be a great equivalent of Jeremy Northam...

@epathirage I don't say he didn't do as good a job as he's capable of, and I think he's a capable actor in general. He was miscast. Go ahead and read the book, do. If you like the movie, you will love the book. There are riches there that a movie could only hint at.

@manthasagittarius unfortunatly i didn't have the chance to read the book. bt this was the first Aaron Eckhart movie i watched. still think this was his best acting so far.
