It's not software-created slo-mo, Zen. Video editing software like Sony's Vegas can apply velocity envelopes to normal video to create an illusion of slo-mo; however, to create really high quality slo-mo you need to use a high-speed video camera.
This video was taken with a Casio EX F1 video camera at 300 frames per second. Normal vid cams record at ~10x slower frame rate, and the data that's missed at 30 fps cannot be recreated, even with good software like Vegas.
