"B-24 Combat Missions" of the 10th Army Air Force, 7th Bomb Group, 493rd and 9th Bomb Squadrons flying out of Pandaveswar, India. This reel contains footage of B-24 Liberator bomber crews engaging in combat with Japanese Zero fighter planes. The flying crew exiting the truck is identified as Lt. Harold Goad's crew. Shown up close looking at a map and planning the mission are (left to right) T/Sgt. Robert W. Witte (Radio Operator) - standing with ball cap, Lt. Earl W. Healzer (Co-Pilot) - blonde with glasses, Lt. Peacock (Navigator) - head down with ball cap, Lt. John C. Kelley (Bombardier) - leather ball cap with cigar in mouth, Lt. Harold W. Goad (Pilot) - smoking pipe, and T/Sgt. Omar A. Austin (Engineer) - on right with ball cap. The footage was shot by the 10th Combat Camera Unit on or about 9/14/1943.
