Hailed by All Music Guide as an example of everything right about hard rock. Syracuse-based BRAND NEW SIN triumphantly demonstrate a monstrous release that has garnered attention and respect. Mixed with undeniable catchy choruses and sheer aggression it is a album of crushing anthem's that shows the group was very tight. Now Or Never Records debut album, BRAND NEW SIN resembled a mesmerizing amalgam of sludgy, dirt-under-the-fingernails, calloused-skin rock and down home, southern style blues. The debut offering was produced by local knobsman Pete Walker at Village Recorders in Liverpool, New York and was one of those rare rock records erected through sheer talent, skill, passion and an iron clad work ethic. Incorporating a variety of metal and hard rock influences ranging from Motorhead, Black Sabbath, and Guns N' Roses to Pantera and Metallica, while traces of Lynyrd Skynyrd remain evident, lending them the sort of bluesy, swampy edge. .From 6 rowdy, long-haired, tattooed, hell-raising, headbangers Brand New Sin was born in the early 2000s. While other metal bands had four or five members, Brand New Sin had six originally. In June 2002, Brand New Sin's self-titled debut album (which Peter Walker produced) was released by the Jersey City, NJ-based Now or Never Records. This is the only album that was recored with all original band members. The following links will take you to what the band members are doing now.
