Sorry for the delay with response. You can go with 1250/1200 in .22 caliber at 30 yards for small game is OK.

@pyramydair i am needing advice on the air rifle i should get i am looking for one that i can comfortably hunt squirrels rabbits and birds at around 30 yards. my budget is $200 and if a remanufactured air rifle will work that will be fine. i have heard a lot about the gamo big cat 1250 or 1200. also i dont want a c02 or a pcp or whatever it is i would like a pump. thank you for your videos.

@pyramydair Its quite alright, I just was letting you know, in case you hadnt caught it for some odd reason.
Keep up the good work please.
I would love to see a review about the 177
Since this is a Nitro Piston, leaving it cocked wont matter at all? Not that im planning to do so but what if it would be cocked for over a day?
Due to the power of this rifle, how about light grain pellets? Lets say the 7,56 in a .177 version... Wont it dammage the piston?
Just to make sure... Im talking about the 1500

Yes, you can leave a nitro piston rifle cocked, and there should not be an issue shooting the 7.56 light pellets from it, although we don't see a practical need for it (at 1500 fps you will be shooting supersonic, and with light pellets it will be loud and inaccurate). You want to slow your .177 air rifle down to 900fps or less.

how is the recoil on this is it bigger than a real 22.?

@MrSpriggs1234
The recoil in air rifles is very different from firearms, and most of the time is negligent comparing to those.
