Yes, it's Jimmy MacBeath. The CD this came from apparantly has various artists, but Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger were the only artists listed by name, and I've learned a lot more since purchasing it.

In fact, if it wasn't the image (I dislike it) it's a nice video, and I really like the song, even if it's not Ewan MacColl's!
There was wi' berow the north [...] the gruel: the very first necht that he got wed he sat'n wad his gruel" or something like that!

@Chomuno hehehehe I don't like the image either. I'm not fond of "gruel" and the image represents what I think of in relation to it.
