Unbeaten #1 ranked Brandon Rios (27-0-1, 19 KOs) won the WBA lightweight title with a scintillating tenth round KO over reigning titleholder Miguel Acosta (28-4-2, 22 KOs) on Saturday night at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Facing his toughest opponent to date Rios applied heavy pressure, but Acosta was able to respond. The lightning quick Acosta rocked Rios with a big right hand at the end of round three. Round four was dominated by Acosta. Rios was able to bull himself inside and land some big shots in the fifth. Rios floored Acosta in the sixth with a left hook followed by a jab. Rios knocked down Acosta again in round eight and finished him in round ten with a relentless barrage in the corner. Time was 1:14.

  • @pinoyamo he judge ? where

  • @mulatomboxe oh i see lol

  • @pinoyamo only on the unofficial score card

  • eli seckback??? wth i didnt know he was a judge lolol

  • @13rataclan That's not "margaritos's" style, Many boxers through out the History of the sport have had that come forward none stop brawling style, many Boxers to this day have that style. It makes for exiting fights, gotta appreciate that style, It would be boring to see pure Boxers who are afraid to get hit. That's a recipe for boring fights.

  • @pussylicker24 all true. I rather like Rios as well, but Elsie just mocked the sport with those scorecards, boxing doesn't need that.

  • @quenquen411 Yea Elie is extremely bias. He shows it in ALL of his videos and did so when scoring this fight. I like Brandon Rios though but he was loosing and it was pretty clear to see it.

  • shows you how bias folks can be. Elsie Setback is very well associated withbRios, and the scoring showed it... wooow... example that you should always fight in your hometown etc.

  • @Cuauhtli47 do you mean the nevada commision cannot trace if manny is on drugs,,are you idiot...that group is the one in this world to do the test accurately...men i think you are on drugs....why margarito was suspended for one year?bcoz they found it out he was cheating....so dont be proud men...

  • Miguel Acosta roll against a very strong fighter in this fight I think if it was vs. valero valero rivers kills him in the first assault and as always the shit opsicion rivers had said was a nobody, over time will know who was the inca valero (God rest her soul)
