  • Great review. I look forward to the Bravo 1 vs cKc review. I believe the cKc will out perform the Bravo 1 in backstrap removal.

  • @mccullenj The cKc has a bit shallower curved belly, a bit deeper angled secondary convex bevel, a much slender blade, and good handle-blade transitional design for pinch holding. They are saying that it is a good backstrap remover to me. Thanks.

  • where can i buy these knifes?

    thanx

  • @frips1000 We can get them from "sell you knife" Kyley's website. But he seems like having a big waiting list and I waited for my new knives for around 6 months. I think Thrive is his current mainstream and N690 European stainless steel is his current favorite. He says on his price in New Zealand Dollars and eventually they are affordable compared to Bark Rivers. Anyway you had better subscribe to his "knivesandstuff" channel. He is a very active YouTuber. His new knives appear there. Thanks.

  • N690Co is Austrian steel Bolerudelholm made it - in my opinion is better than VG10 - has more cobalt and is very fine and strong SS - benchmade and italian custom manufactures worked it great

  • @stefanwolf88 Thanks! Viewed from Asia, Austria and Germany are very close. Maybe I guess viewed from Europe Japan and Korea are very close. Anyway I don't appreciate VG10 very much. So I expect N690 very much.

  • @yloiron Svord Drop Point Hunter is one of my favorites, and I think I need to compare it with cKc Belt Knife hunter version (Svord L6 stock) in the near future. Anyway the Svord Hunter comes with a blunt secondary edge and you need to make a new bevel to get it sharp. Thanks.

  • AGREED!! Ckc hunter L6 steel and Thrive 01 steel are 2 great and outstanding knives...

  • @virtuovice Nice Knives Mate. Svords and L6 steel is legendary.

    Keep the goods coming

  • @knivesandstuff Or indeed a nice bear fillet. It'd probably taste vile actually

  • Another great video!

  • Thanks Wako. I enjoyed your revision of Kyleys knives in your collection. I received my 'bear knife' this morning and I am impressed also. The steel width combined with the steel choice makes me feel I have a exceptionally sturdy knife. I love the feeling of balance and secure grip when wrapping my hand around the choil and hilt, very secure and easy to maneuver. Also the handle grooves work very well. I think this knife is very versatile, there is little it can't do IMO. I am very impressed.

  • Hope you will not have to use you bear-fighting knife this season :)

  • Can you not also carry a pistol for defense where you are? I've seen (not personally) hunters get beaten badly by deer during deer season because they didn't have a proper quick side arm. I hate to think what a bear would do...

  • i had to stop the video right away and prepare myself a nice cup of genmaicha before continuing.

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 And you have to feed a dog.. I guess it could eat deer. lol
