  • haha the dust cap from the last recone was a little sloppy but who cares if it still gets loud.

how many watts can one of these handle daily?

  • Well , always take in account ,

The Subs i put on 220 V wallsocket are always subs that are ready to be reconed , so they did allready a hard job in my extreme car ;)

Daily Watts : i always recommend on APXX between 1500 to 6 - 8000 watt rms clean power , clean is important on the high levels . And offcours a good 12 V battery system for the amps then ...

  • lol touché I got ya now I love watching these videos and then seeing the voice coil afterwards.

so if these woofers are such beasts how come lately I have seen them go for so cheap on car audio websites?

I would really like 2 18's and of course like you said some clean power and good electrical.

  • Not sure ,

Sure when looking at them 2e hand : Look good ! Some are APX instead of APXX , or are older versions . Not that these are Not good , contrary , But you understand to that every level got his price .

  • This is the 3" version? Haha, sweet. xD

  • Yes :-))

  • :)

    Hello Jani !!

  • fun fun fun !!!!!!

  • Impedance at that burp is indeed 1.757 , and that is right , Not to big . There is no rule that says RE will be 2 x in this . Impedance at that point will vary regards frequency - speaker specs - how it is boxed ( free air here ) and power put in to it . I would advice , do the same tests , measure all , get back to me ;)

You can PM or Email me to the common known adresses for more details .

    More handy then here

  • There we go again :))

Sorry Julezaz , it is just not the first time ;)

220V installation overhere is about 234V to 236V measured , but your right rms its lower . This is Not a Home installation , but a "normal" industrial installation , just imagine to try ones to get out of Home Installation 125 Amperes in a healty way ...

    More under this one ...
