From the inventive mind of Alex Lourido (Butter Coin) comes his most spectacular trick, yet - Glass Mirage!

This beautifully crafted and ingenious prop will have you performing mind-twisting feats with ordinary, unprepared beer and soda bottles that are so incredible, they defy physics!

For example,

* Take an empty beer bottle and turn it upside down to fully extract any remaining liquid. Display both of your hands empty, and with a magical wave, the sound of re-pressurization is heard! Then the cap instantly appears on the bottle's mouth! Hand the bottle out for examination and, to everyone's astonishment, the bottle is now completely refilled and capped with an airtight seal! They open the bottle with a bottle opener and hear it depressurize, while the beer foam bubbles up and gently cascades down the side of the bottle!

* Place an empty beer bottle at the center of a table and cover it with a thin, shear silk. On your command the sound of re-pressurization can be heard! Then you or a spectator removes the silk to reveal that the bottle is completely filled, capped, and sealed!

* You can also inform your friends and audience that you have trained yourself to remove a non twist-off cap from any beer bottle, with nothing more than your bare hands! You than borrow an unopened and completely sealed bottle from someone and proceed to place your fingers around the cap. With a light prying motion the cap is seen to pop off the bottle and the sound of rushing air is heard! The bottle is displayed and shown to be completely open! You put the bottle down on the bar and display the cap in your hand. Then, with a light rub the cap instantly vanishes and to everyone's shock and amazement, it is seen to reappear at the neck of the bottle from whence it came! And of course, the bottle is capped with an airtight seal!

  • That bottle of guiness was most def switched.

He's not even holding it in the same place when it comes back into shot, and how long does the neck get?

And the bottle in the pocket, he puts it in bottom first then after they cut the film to zoom in you can see the shape of the top of the bottle in his pocket.

Looks a bit dodgy to me.

  • YES THERE ARE SWITCHING OF ANY KIND! THEY EVEN STOP THE CAMERA TO INHANCE THEPERFORMANCE! WOW THIS TRICK IS NOT WORTH WHAT.... 60-70 DOLLARS!!! DISAPOINTED

  • This trick is tight. It kills every time I perform it.

  • You cant do that its a camera trick thats what made me buy it till i learned thats not possible unless your doin it on camera only.

  • Yeah they make lots of cuts on the video to really make this trick look good! my opinion, SUCKS and there is "swiching" involved liars.

  • tell me more about it. it sounds like a piece of SHIT

  • Everyone has a different concept of what is "worth" $50. Alex manufactures all of these by hand. I wouldn't want to make one of these...

Also, I saw him demo this item in person and he KILLED. Every trick in the demo looks just as good in person. REALLY! I think almost everyone in the audience ( around 20 guys ) bought a Glass Mirage from him. Good trick.

  • how practical is it to reffil the beer bottle?

  • I bought it, it's very good. It easily fits in my pocket and I can perform anywhere, anytime, and the effects are awesome.

  • same here
