Breakaway to Hurghada (Red Sea) in Egypt

http://toursandtales.com/ - As our RYA sailing course was cancelled at the last minute, we booked a last minute trip to Hurghada, on the Red Sea in Egypt. We snorkelled, scuba dived, quad bikes and visited Luxor (Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple).

hi, me and my boyfriend very much enjoyed watching your video. we are going there end of august. we are staying at makadi bay. is there any tips you can give us, as it is the first time in egypt and out of europe for that matter.

Hi there, thanks for your comments. How exciting! Best advice for travel outside Europe? Enjoy an authentic experience: take your sense of adventure, respect the local culture and leave your expectations at home.

Makadi Bay is in the desert (30 km's from Hurghada). Tips: a quad bike ride to visit a Bedouin Camp (you can ride by yourself, or double up) & snorkelling. Local knowledge always rules - check out the excursions that your hotel is offering.
