Smacked around by the landlord - hilarious Abbott and Costello skit!

In many ways, the Abbott and Costello TV show contained funnier moments than their movies did - and this particular scene is one of my favorites, whereas Lou is the brunt of Mr Field's wrath - who doesn't permit loud radio playing in his building.

I know this is bizarro land but, eh, don't you think Mike the Cop should give Lou a hand? Guess everybody's hand is broken except Lou's as they cannot turn the knob of the radio.

@RPenta this was such a funny scene. you can see sidney fields smacking his own hands. that makes it more funnier. i just wished lou costello smacked fields & b. abbott. could you imagine mike the cop, bacciagolupe, & hillary expression when they were watching these scenes behind the camera ? ****

A hilarious routine. It would have been cool if Costello had found a way to pop a blood packet in his mouth so that his face would have blood all over it when Abbott keeps telling him to turn it on. Maybe they wanted to do that but 1952 rules wouldn't let them.

@RPenta Yea, Mike could have stepped in but it should be noted that this  was a bit from Buck Privates. Sid Fields wrote some of the scripts for the show & lifting old bits was common. (Besides,Mike didn't like Lou anyway!!)
