  • Thank you. I am so trying to learn this technique for Second life. I did not know about pining the base UV texture. My only problem is how fast you went. An outline of what you did would be very helpful.

    Thx

  • @joey301 do you need like a more detailed tutorial cause i can put one together? :]

  • @HiredGunGames am still going through this, i got it to work after several tries. I noticed that you were not in object mode when you created the new UV textures? I am confused about when to create a new image, such as why you created an image to pin even though one was there.. Maybe the first unwrap was not an image? I wish the unwraped UV textures showed up in the outliner. I want to learn this texture baking with Projection Painting. Thanks again

  • @joey301 the very frist unwrap is a blank image to bake the textures onto it. i understand it very complicated but try to do each step exactly how i do it and see if it helps. I pin'd the uv's because when you unwrap them a second time using a seperate uv channel i didnt want the original uv unwrap to unwrap with it. this allows them to bake in the positions of the first uv unwrap.

  • Hello @HiredGunGames , a direct and short question, are you interested to make weapon- , zombie- , terrain- and / or basic models for a upcoming zombie survival game? Maybe you ask why you, i saw your knowedge in modeling and some 3d models
