@omegafile You lose energy splitting H2O into HH + OO not gain it. This is not a perpetual motion machine. Its not even especially efficient, but thats not what its about. What it is about is using cheap or free materials that would normally go to land fill to generate a combustable gas to power an engine. You see there is free energy in just about everything that we throw out, so it is only free because it costs nothing to get the materials not because the energy comes from nowhere.

@ChrisPCrunchy I do know what plasma is a super excited state of mater that happens to be DENSE the super heated gas/liquid that gives off light as an electrical current ionizes it is NOT plasma. Also if the carbon was binding with the free oxygen you would have carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide nether of which burn so with this set up and following your logic the only thing you are burning is h2 and oxygen present in the air.

@omegafile No way man. We finally completed our dark matter collector which will supplement the feeble output of the terawatt fusion plant. Now we have enough power for the quantum computer cluster our AI requested for mapping the wormholes.
electrical arc =/= plasma so that "glowing pixie" that you mentioned is an electrical arc not fire or plasma "consuming" you graphite electrodes. Until you have a mass spectrometer take a look at the gasses your producing your just as ignorant about what your doing as you claim I am.

@dugg117 You dont know what plasma is. It is the fourth state of matter. Plasma is generated when an electrical current is applied across a dielectric gas or fluid (an electrically non-conducting material). An electric arc is plasma & in this case distilled water is the dielectric.You have no idea. If the gas was just Hydrogen & Oxygen then the flame would flash back into the confined enclosure where it was generated & it would explode. Carbon has bonded with the free oxygen preventing this.

@ChrisPCrunchy Though double checked you are right it is "Plasma" But your chemistry is still wrong when carbon bonds with oxygen the resultant will not burn. But know your going to try and tell me that you have managed to also create "hydrocarbons" also pyrolysis requires ORGANIC compounds containing carbon because they have a relevantly "high" energy state, graphite is no such thing and is very stable or at a "low" energy state.

CO or carbon monoxide will oxidise (burn) to reach its stable state of CO2. Why pretend you know something about chemistry when clearly you don’t. Both Graphite & water H2O are in their stable or low energy state. That is why energy has to be provided to generate the plasma and supply the heat for the endothermic reaction that produces a combustible gas. I don’t know what you are trying to prove here. I am explaining that this gas is NOT the same as that produced by electrolysis as you asserted.

This is no more plasma than that lighter or a match is. What you meant to title this video is "car hydrogen injection system" or "hydrogen combustion system"

@BigBananaMan The plasma is inside the injector unit (where you cant see it) What you do see is the gas produced and ignited as proof of flamability. This unit is meant to prove the voume of gas produced, the speed at which the gas is produced, the low power required, supplied by just one 12v battery. I dont think you understand what I am trying to do. This is only an early prototype.
