At CES Unveiled, Sculpteo displayed it's cloud-based 3-D modeling system. Just send in your file, pay around 300 bucks and you'll recieve your very own prototype.
@rockebanane Maybe it's cheaper to replace broken parts with those that we print ourselves as opposed to ordering said parts, paying for shipping, and waiting the few days.
Whoa, a 3-D printer for just $300??? Dang, I remember when it could have cost that much for a 2-D dot-matrix! (That would've been in my elementary & middle years.)
You know, maybe we should program printers to print parts of themselves, so once we put it together, then... well, you fill in the blanks.
@Djhg2000 Either way was correct. -ze was American English; -se was British/Commonwealth.

Oh yeah, let's cut out the middleman so we can make even more money of the people directly.

@EgaoNoGenki and think of: why should we fill gaps when the product is already working? :D

@EgaoNoGenki good idea, but those parts are much cheaper produced in mass producation (accumulation of ressources ect) :)
