it seems that this would be even harder if a tether WAS attached to the card. Maybe I'm just unimaginative but it seems to me that would not work.

Not the main cards rather i did it to the first few cards. Like the ad cards. But bending it works bettter. Like you can throw it far further. Trust me try it

Ive learned if you bend the card it does more of this boomerang movement. Make like a bow in the card and easily it will be coming to you. It's cool

Don't bemnd your cards. You don't need to to do this trick properly and it will ruin a perfectly good pack of cards.

Yeah thats kinda not the point of the video, doing the boomerang is easy, its more about the catches, but I know what you mean, my camera is shoddy!!!
