Sometimes it's more important to attend to the bike first. They tend to catch fire if the fuel starts leaking, or from the exhaust lying on dried leaves and grass. He didn't look seriously injured from the fall. I doubt he got anymore hurt in the few extra seconds it took to secure the bike first, not to mention there were at least two others that probably helped the rider.
