  • That's because the reacTable takes a Vintage Synth approach to soundmaking. You ccontrol every parameter in the wave, just like on a vintage synth. This takes more of a digital approach to making sounds, with an emphasis on sampling, and DJing. This could be more powerful alone, but I believe that the reacTable would work better as an instrument in a band, replacing a vintage synthesizer.

  • This is much older than Reactable and probably inspired it (see the dates on the video, it's from 2003). It seems much more useful to me, as it makes real musical sounds and is much more expressive, while the Reactable only generates simple bleeps and noises.

  • this is too dam complicated and elaborate il rather stick to the reactable wich looks more fun and entretaining especialy with all the colors and stuff

  • Mas que merda é essa??

    What's Tha Fuck That??? rsrsrs

  • I feel like the Reactable has a more intuitive UI. However, this one seems to have more sophisticated samples --the sounds are more production quality.

  • A lot of cool things came out of the MIT Media Labs

  • thats so cool
