@KingHashimG Allah called his prophets by their first names , so if Elijah Muhamamd was a prophet, the verse would have referred to Elijah and not Muhammad.

and verses 49&50 of chapter 3 refers to Issah (Jesus) (PBUH).

and Allah never came in person to any prophet, there is nothing and no one in this universe that is similar or close to similar to Allah, Allah is a lot greater than being shaped in a form of a human being. Allah teached the gospel to Issah(PBUH) by sending Angel Gabriel to him.

@thelegendofgoku ok ok ok... My point of view is different than yours but look at this. I too say that Muhammad is the last of the Prophets... 4 me he Elijah Muhammad. In the Qur'an Chapter 3 ver 49 -50 He will Teach Him the Wisdom and The Book and The Torah and the Gospel... So while your not being opened minded and not reading the bible your missing the point that Allah is the Greatest and is the best of knowers so if he will Teach him the Gospel he would have to come n Person

any one who warns us muslims nowdays isn't a prophet, we in islam mostly call him Mujadid, who revives our islamic thought and philosophy by the teachings of the prophet Muhammad, and the 4 greatest Mujadids of the past century are Hassan Al Banna, Malcolm X , Iqbal and Ali Shariati

@thelegendofgoku I too believe the Torah and Bible have been tampered with but there are things of use in it so it is still relevant today.. You have to teach the people the truth from out of their own books and this is why I directed you to Sura 3 ver 49 -50. just re-read our conversation and look at the verses and look at the promise Allah made with Ibraham. know with surety your seed will be in a land not of their own. And they will serve and afflict them four hundred years

@thelegendofgoku Where in the Qur'an does Allah say Prophet Muhammad was the last prophet or messenger. And sorry brother I just cant believe that my Allah would not sent us a warner as he had done everyone else.. Are we not as dust in the earth reduced to nothing but hoes pimps gangbangers and sinners.. If Elijah is not yours he is Mine and he opened my eyes to Allah and thats all that matter. So that makes him my Saviour and Prophet!

@KingHashimG we muslims believe that the bible and the torah were books from Allah sent to his prophets in order to teach it to their people , but christians&jews manipulated their books. the final book sent by Allah is the Quran , he sent it to the final prophet and messenger Muhammad(PBUH) in order to teach it to the whole mankind regardless of their race,tribe,gender or social background. and BTW what does this to have with the argument of was Elijah a prophet or not ??

@thelegendofgoku As salaam alaikum! I have a question. Do sunni Muslims read the bible? For you, in what context is the Bible and Qur'an read in? Meaning past future present? Also, In Sura 3 ver 49 - 50 it speaks of the Messiah, Jesus. goes on saying He(Allah) will teach him Al-Kitab The Book the Wisdom the Torah and the Gospel... so...those books where already present. Didnt Prophet Muhammad bring the book? Oh I guess we dont deserve to have one raised up amongst us like Musa?

@KingHashimG first of all ,if u didn't realize , i am a black sunni muslim ,and we sunni muslims, believe that the last prophet Is Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (PBUH) as Quran states,and not Elijah, he wasn't the prophet of only Arabs as Elijah said , he was the prophet of all humanity,arabs,blacks,persians­,turks,etc ,45% of africans in mainland Africa follow islam without having another prophet after Muhammad PBUH.and i believe that most of the African-American Muslims are like that now.
