One of the greatest pairings of car and driver ever, the Porsche 917 and Pedro Rodriguez.

Nuestro mejor piloto Méxicano, en lluvia era imparable.

Very rare interview indeed, but quite impressive quotations from someone who is cheered as undefeatable in wet circuses!

genial
It's from a video i have about the 1970 sports car season. It basically follows the JW Gulf Porsche team around the championship season. It had a few snippets of Pedro talking so i just merged them together to make this clip.

Thanks for the comment, it's Brands Hatch in England. This is regarded as one of his greatest races along with Austria 1971.

I know, he was a special driver. In my opinion he was one of the best F1 drivers and the best sports car driver when he was killed.

Hi mate, oh yeah i forgot about Solana. I don't know too much about him except he used to compete in the Mexican GP and did quite well in 67.
It's a shame he didn't do more outside America.

Hi mate, i uploaded it from a video called 'The Gulf/Wyer GT40's and 917's in Action'. Half of it is pretty much a review of the 1970 world sportscar season.
Everything he said i've put on and i think he was talking about the BOAC 1000KM mainly because it was such an amazing victory for him.
One of my favourite drivers ever and probably the best Mexico has produced along with Ricardo!
